Jason Kotecki

Jason started playing drums at age 11, and has had one hell of a time ever since. Back in 1999 is when things really started to take off musically. He was the original drummer for the Root City Band, and has had the opportunity to play with some outstanding musicians, and play some amazing shows. One show in particular, was opening for Lamont Cranston when he was 16 at the Brainerd International Raceway.

In 2003, Jason took a break from the music scene and went into the United States Marne Corps. He took his music with him though, and even did an open blues jam in Singapore. In 2007 after getting out of the military, Jason got in touch with the Teddy Larsen Band and they started jamming together in Jan. of 2008. They played a gig opening for the Cranston's out in Center City, and not too much after that, he was called upon to join the Cranstons.
